About This Tour
The green side of Ubud, from plantation to waterfall to rice terrace. You will taste coffee and cacao where they grow, swim at two very different falls, Kanto Lampo with its fan of water over stepped rock and the wide curtain of Tegenungan, and walk among the long-tailed macaques of the Sacred Monkey Forest. The afternoon adds a jungle swing over the valley and time in the terraced paddies, with a stop at the silver and painting workshops on the way back.

Coffee & Chocolate Plantation
Learn how Balinese coffee and cacao are grown and processed, then sample luwak coffee, herbal teas and fresh chocolate on a terrace overlooking the plantation.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall
A short walk down to one of the most photographed falls on the island, where the water spreads across a wide staircase of rock. Bring a change of clothes if you plan to get in.

Tegenungan Waterfall
A powerful single-drop waterfall in a jungle gorge, with a deep pool at the base and viewing platforms along the rim for those who prefer to stay dry.

Lunch with a View
Authentic Balinese cuisine at a restaurant overlooking the river valley. Vegetarian and vegan options available.

Sacred Monkey Forest
Wander the mossy temple ruins and banyan roots of the sanctuary, home to several hundred long-tailed macaques. Your driver briefs you on how to keep your belongings safe.

Bali Swing & Rice Terraces
Swing out over the valley at Tegallalang, then walk the narrow paths between the terraced paddies carved into the hillside.

Silver Smith & Painting Workshops
A last stop at the artisan villages on the road home, where you can watch jewelry and canvases being made and pick up a souvenir at workshop prices.
