About This Tour

The classic Nusa Penida circuit, and the one behind most of the photographs you have seen of the island. Kelingking Beach and its T-Rex headland, the natural rock arch of Broken Beach, the tidal pool at Angel's Billabong sitting right on the edge of the ocean, and Crystal Bay for swimming and snorkelling at the end of the afternoon. A last viewpoint at Pelilit cliff before the boat back to Bali.

Itinerary

  1. 06:00

    Hotel Pickup

    Your driver meets you at your hotel lobby and drives you to Sanur harbour. Complimentary bottled water and cold towel provided.

  2. 07:30

    Fast Boat to Nusa Penida

    A 40 minute crossing to Toya Pakeh. A local driver and vehicle meet you at the pier for the day on the island.

  3. 09:00

    Kelingking Beach Viewpoint

    The headland that looks like a sleeping dinosaur, with a white beach at the bottom of the drop. The descent is a steep unsecured scramble and takes about an hour each way, so most guests stay at the viewpoint.

  4. 10:30

    Angel's Billabong

    A natural infinity pool carved into the rock shelf, clear enough to see straight to the bottom at low tide. Swimming depends on the swell and your driver will tell you if conditions allow.

  5. 11:30

    Broken Beach

    A circular cove open to the sea through a natural rock arch, with a footpath running the whole way around the rim. Manta rays are often visible in the water below.

  6. 13:00

    Lunch by the Coast

    Indonesian cuisine at a warung with a sea view. Vegetarian options available.

  7. 14:30

    Crystal Bay

    A sheltered bay with calm, clear water and coral close in. The best swimming and snorkelling stop on this side of the island.

  8. 16:00

    Pelilit Cliff Viewpoint

    A final clifftop stop on the western coastline before heading back to the harbour.

  9. 17:00

    Return to Bali

    Fast boat back to Sanur, then your driver takes you to your hotel. Expect to arrive around 18:30.
